Invest in a child's future
Join us in transforming a historic landmark into Cleveland's dedicated faith-based youth prevention center. Your support creates a sanctuary where children can heal, learn, and thrive.
Why your donation matters
The children of Cleveland are running out of time, and this building is ready. Every dollar donated moves us closer to opening the doors of a 120-year-old historic landmark that has been waiting to serve this community again. A donation to Healings Community Center is not charity — it is a direct investment in a child's future. It is the difference between a teenager choosing a prevention program over a street corner, between a child learning their worth before the world teaches them they have none, and between a community losing another young life to violence or addiction and that same young person becoming a testimony. Your donation builds the room where a child first hears that God made them on purpose. It restores the window that has survived 120 years of this community's history. All donations are tax-deductible through our registered 501(c)(3). Every dollar counts. Every donor matters. And every child is worth it.

More ways to help
Beyond financial gifts, your skills, materials, and connections can significantly accelerate our restoration and program launch. Every contribution makes a difference.
Donate your skills and time
Building materials and skilled labor are just as critical as financial donations. We need contractors, electricians, plumbers, roofers, HVAC technicians, drywall crews, painters, and restoration specialists who can donate their time and expertise to this historic rehabilitation. If your company provides corporate volunteer days we would love to partner with you.
Donate materials or make connections
We also need material donations including lumber, drywall, roofing materials, flooring, insulation, windows, doors, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, and paint. If you are a supplier, distributor, or manufacturer who can donate materials at cost or provide them at a discount, we want to hear from you. And if you know someone we should know — a contractor, a grant writer, a media contact, a foundation, or a corporate partner — making that introduction is one of the most powerful things you can do. Every contribution — financial, material, or relational — moves us one step closer to opening these doors.
How your donations are used
Every dollar donated goes directly toward one of two purposes — restoring the building or launching the programs inside it. Funds will be used for structural repair, roofing, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, flooring, drywall, interior rehabilitation, and the preservation of the original 1906 stained glass windows. Once the building is restored every dollar raised through program grants, donations, and community partnerships goes directly into serving youth — paying certified prevention specialists, purchasing program materials, funding physical wellness equipment, stocking the community garden, and ensuring every child who walks through those doors receives the full benefit of all five prevention pillars at no cost to them or their families. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All financial records are maintained with full transparency. Documentation is available upon request for any donor, grant funder, or community partner who requires it.
Our gratitude to you
Every donor will receive a personal thank you from our founder and CEO Chauntoyia Edwards. We will recognize all donors on our permanent donor wall inside the restored building — because their names belong on these walls just as much as the bricks do. Donors will receive regular photo and video updates showing the progress of the restoration so they can see exactly what their contribution is building. Corporate and material donors will be recognized on our website, in our press materials, and at our building dedication ceremony. When those doors open we will host a celebration and every person who helped make it possible will be honored as part of this building's story. Their investment will be woven into the next 120 years of Healings Community Center. And most importantly — we will show them the faces of the children whose lives were changed because they chose to show up.
