Our unwavering mission

Anchored in healing, transforming lives

Our mission at Healings Community Center is anchored in the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. We believe the Word of God is the most powerful weapon against every giant that threatens a child's future: drugs and alcohol, violence, mental health, tobacco and vaping, obesity, and physical wellness. We exist to restore what has been broken—the lives of children who have been told they will never be enough, a hurting community, and a historic church.

At Healings Community Center, our purpose is clear: to restore hope, community, and futures. Discover the core beliefs that drive our work and our commitment to every child in Cleveland.

A safe haven, a brighter future

Restoring this 120-year-old historic landmark church will give Cleveland's most vulnerable children a permanent safe haven—a place rooted in the healing ministry of Jesus Christ where they are equipped to overcome the giants that threaten their future before it begins. When those doors open, children who have been written off will walk in and find out they have a future. Families will be strengthened. The community will have an anchor. And the giants of drugs and alcohol, violence, mental health, tobacco and vaping, and obesity and physical wellness will fall—one child at a time.

A movement born from lived experience

Healings Community Center is not a program; it is a movement born from lived experience. Our founder is a U.S. Air Force combat veteran who never stopped serving—her country, her city, and the next generation. Our story is not theoretical; it is personal. We do not just talk about the giants that destroy children's futures. We have faced them ourselves, and we have overcome them with the Word of God.

We are the only organization in Cleveland restoring a 120-year-old historically registered landmark church into a dedicated youth prevention center. Our youth prevention center is anchored entirely in the healing ministry of Jesus Christ—where faith is not an add-on, but the foundation. Every program, every service, and every interaction is rooted in the belief that the greatest intervention is prevention and that every child deserves the chance to grow up whole.

"We want every person who reads this story to believe what we believe—that the greatest intervention is prevention, that every child deserves the chance to grow up whole, and that this 120-year-old building is not just being restored. It is being resurrected. For such a time as this."
